"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow"
The Charity City Project Team pays a visit today to Mrs. Salot Ademola, to practically show the love of God to her by presenting a cash donation of N15,000 to support her petty business.
Mrs. Salot Ademola is a 40 year old widow who lives at NO 62,Oseni Goriola Street, Chemist bus-stop, Oniba Drive, Ojo Local Government, Lagos. She stays in a single room with her mother and four children (two sons and two daughters). Three of her children are currently in public school, while her first born is learning a trade as he is yet to gain admission into the University with no money to pay for his tuition.
Having lost her husband 8 years ago, Mrs. Ademola has been saddled with the responsibility of catering for the family all alone. She sells fried fish in her shop which is just in front of her house; this is how she makes little money to feed. Mrs. Ademola buys the cartons of fish, vegetable oil and charcoal on credit, then has to pay back the supplier after making sales. She earns a profit of N2,500 weekly and her fish business serve as her only means of livelihood. Mrs. Ademola is very diligent in her business, she works hard and leaves the rest to God, trusting that he would provide for all her needs. She starts sales by 8:00AM and closes by 11:00PM to ensure she sells a carton of fish daily and is able to pay back her debt for the day.
With the commitment Mrs. Ademola has towards her business and her strong belief that God will always make a way for her, The Charity City Project team were so pleased to pay her a visit today and show love to the family. The team presented a cash donation to Mrs. Ademola to help boost her business. The entire family was so happy and thankful to us for being so kind to them.
She intends to use the money to buy her goods in full and not on credit like she normally does, she also intends to start selling kerosene; a business which she believes is very profitable in her environment.
While presenting the cash donation to her, the leader of the team Azemobor Gregory enjoined her to make judicious use of the money to boost her petty business so she could adequately provide for the family.
